Norton's keen eye for detail and strong color sense define her unique collection of pearl and gemstone jewelry. As young children, Nancy and her sister were often carted off to the art museums of New York, Boston and Washington D.C. by their parents. Growing up the daughter of an Abstract Expressionist, family vacations were not centered around theme parks but around the Masters. This exposure at an early age instilled a sensitivity to color, texture and balance that would follow Nancy throughout her life. Nancy Belley-Norton, raised on the North Shore of Long Island, received a B.A. in Fine Arts and Interior Design from NYIT. Her work focused on the design of high profile corporations, Flagship International Banks, Film Studios and Fortune 500 clients, domestic and abroad. With many of her projects published in trade journals and magazines, Nancy's interiors were known for her dramatic use of color and period details. These credits earned her the distinction of being named one of the "Top Three Designers" by Steelcase Corporation.

Always seen wearing multiple strands of her signature pearls playfully accented with colorful gemstones, Nancy felt it was time to design her own versatile line of pearl jewelry.  The Lovejoy Collection honors a long-standing family name and is based on a sophisticated palette of genuine pearls, exotic gemstones and fire blown Lamp Glass.  Her designs are for every lifestyle, every mood and every age. “My jewelry has a personality unto itself. Nancy lives in New York with her husband, young son and a feisty Kerry Blue Terrier.
